    Surf-2 - Rtec Instruments

Rtec Adhesion Tester is a turn key solution to measure Pull up Adhesion force, Work of Adhesion and Shear Adhesion of materials. Equipped with Ultra-Sensitive Capacitance Load Cells this tester provides µN level resolution with forces up to 5N. The High-Resolution sensors allow characterization of large samples over macroscopic length scales to study the effect of texture and other surface modifications. Integrated with High Resolution Inverted Camera, it allows the researchers to measure Contact Area vs. Force making it extremely useful in measuring Adhesion of Soft Materials, Biomimetics and Hydrogels.

  • Performance Exams

    infraTest Prüftechnik GmbH

Sturdy sheet steel housing with safety door and electrically driven base with built-on sample mold. The compaction takes place via a rolling segment with force / path-controlled drive device from above. The sample mold and the rolling segment are equipped with software controlled heating. The measurement of force and displacement is done by electronic sensors. The entire compaction process is controlled with Windows software and PC via preselected sequence programs.

  • Airlock Control System

    ViTec Co. Ltd

The system is built on the basis of a panel computer with a touch screen, performing the functions of a user interface and recording the measured parameters. The stand is equipped with gate drives and a set of sensors (pressure, flow rate, force). Real-time gate control is implemented on the basis of the R-series board; for input and conversion of analog signals from the sensors, an expansion cage of the cRIO-9151 R-series boards is used.

  • Voltage Meter

    MDN8I - Holding Informtest

MDN8I is a mezzanine module designed for high-precision measurements in dynamic signal analysis systems, as well as for joint work with ICP sensors and vibration transducers with a charge output (force sensors, dynamic pressure, acoustic emission, vibration displacement, etc.). The MDN8I mezzanine module has electrical characteristics no worse than those of most foreign and domestic counterparts, and in some parameters exceeds them.

  • Load Cells

    VPG Transducers

The heart of each weighing system is a load cell. Load cells are mechanical components which act as force sensors by employing strain gages to provide an electrical output proportional to the applied force. Typically the electrical output is either analog (voltage or current) or digital. Load cells have specific mechanical packaging and sensing orientation to fit into electronic scales, and testing and monitoring systems. Load cells can be used for tension, compression, and/or shear measurement.

  • Modeling Capacitors, Inductors, Insulators, Coils, Motors, and Sensors

    AC/DC Module - COMSOL, Inc.

The AC/DC Module is used for simulating electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic fields in static and low-frequency applications. Typical applications include capacitors, inductors, insulators, coils, motors, actuators, and sensors, with dedicated tools for extracting parameters such as resistance, capacitance, inductance, impedance, force, and torque.

  • Bending Beams/shear Beams

WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG

Bending beams and shear beams are used for the determination of (shear) forces and are suitable for both static (weighing technology) and dynamic (machine building) measurement projects. To determine how strong the force is in the application, strain gauges or thin-film sensors are used, which are attached on or in the measuring body. The fields of application of bending beams and shear beams are many and varied. Thus, these load cells are very often used in industrial weighing technology as well as in the areas of special machine building, factory automation and stage construction. In addition, they are used in the laboratory and process industry for the indirect determination of torques. The appropriate technical and regional approvals for these force transducers are, of course, available as options.
